A Chinese dinner is not complete without an egg roll, fried rice and wonton soup. The egg roll and soup will add 200 and 100 calories to the plate respectively. Chinese fried rice contains a whopping 1,500 calories per serving.

General Tso’s chicken and rice is a fried concoction of rich sauce, fried chicken pieces and white rice. This entree will bring 1,600 calories to the plate according to the Center for Science in Public Interest.

Add It Up

The chicken entree and sides add up to 3,400 calories. Using the U.S. Department of Agriculture caloric intake guidelines, that plate of Chinese food exceeded the daily limit by 1,400 calories.
