According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a typical petit four contains around 60 calories. Within that piece are approximately 40 calories of carbohydrates, 16 calories of fats and 4 calories of proteins.

The USDA also indicates that a typical petit four weighs 15 g, 9 g of which are carbohydrates. Another 1.75 g consist of fats and 0.5 g are protein with the remainder being water and other nutrients.

Within a standard diet of 2000 calories per day, the same serving of petit four offers just under 3 percent of the calories an average adult should eat each day.
